Blood & Ink: Sunday

Strong opinions, loosely held…
A favorite aphorism of mine given how hard it is to do.
Humility is an essential component of self-awareness and growth. It means seeing yourself clearly and acknowledging faults or poor thinking without being overcome by a story about them.
But a silent trap lurking in the corner of this development is a lack of conviction.
Never going all in on the present. Always contending with whispers of doubt.
Constantly second-guessing yourself will have you running in circles.
Yes, you must be open to feedback, new information, and better arguments.
But be firm in your convictions once you have them.
Let them be weight-bearing.
Hold them loosely, but make them strong.
Be bold brothers,
Eric Brown.
