overcoming fear / redefining failure / moral courage
Blood & Ink: Sunday

“Failure, unless catastrophic, is irrelevant.”

Let this sink in, brother…

What is it you fear about failure? Why does the prospect of failing grip you so?

The risk of real catastrophe is infinitesimal.

Deep down, the real fear is for your ego. That it won’t be perfect. That people will criticize you. That what is so meaningful to you won’t be as meaningful to others.

Where is the problem here?

You have blood in your veins and fire in your spirit. You have breath, do you not?

Get on with it!

Every failure is a step toward success. The price of success is the cost of failure. There is almost nothing that you cannot return from, stronger than ever before.

  • Money can be made again.
  • Time is never wasted if you learn something.
  • Reputations rebuilt.
  • Trust earned again.
  • Relationships formed anew.

Do not fear failure. At worst, it is irrelevant, at best it is the greatest teacher on your path.

Muster your courage, and move through the fear.

Do. The. Thing.
